    my review will be on the campground. I have done a couple of camping in Ontario and quebec but i have to say Gatineau park is awesome. near to Ottawa, teh place is realy beautiful. we 4 family stayed near the smith's beach, the ash rooms were realy clean, the beach water was so clean u can see the rocks in the bed, the sites were calm and quite. at night we found 2 groups of raccoons :P. I must recommend this place

    A little ways from Ottawa but worth the trip. This is a large beach on a beautiful lake in Gatineau park. There is a campsite that you can stay at here, hikes and other things to do.

    The camp sites are a little close together but the overall campsite is fantastic. We stayed in #122. It was very quiet, not a lot of traffic and close to probably the best campsite washrooms I've ever used!

    The beaches are also very good (when it's not a weekend - they are PACKED on a weekend).
